Faint crinkling at jacket tips, one small closed jacket tear with associated crease (2.0 cm in length) at top edge of front panel and a damp stain on the page block measuring 2.0 cm x 1.0 cm square at the top corner. The spine panel is also moderately sunned. Aside from these defects a square, straight copy in a superior near fine jacket. An important anthology in the horror genre and the first book in the "Whispers" anthology series. Except for "Mirror, Mirror" by Ray Russell each of the stories listed here originally appeared in the magazine Whispers.
