Mint Condition. Black & white postcard commemorating the Snoopy & Charlie Brown bronze sculpture dedicated March 3, 2001 in Railroad Square, Santa Rosa, California. Hand-placed onto the back of the postcard by the postal clerk in Santa Rosa is the limited issue commemorative stamp with Snoopy depicted as the "World War I Flying Ace", then cancelled by the Post Office using the special stamp.The stamp is First Day Of Issue with cancellation (May 17, 2001) by the Postal Service using the rubber pictorial hand-cancel stamp. (Hand-stamp cancellation ceased as of June 15, 2001. After June 15th, of the four hand-stamps, one went to the Schultz family, one to the Peanuts museum and one to the Smithsonian. The fourth hand-stamp was destroyed.) A unique item for the stamp collector and Peanuts fan alike.
