Deckled edges with red dye stain on top edge of text block, in the old printing style common with books in the past. Rear jacket panel illustration mirrors the front panel except for the title "Perfume" is translated back into the original "Das Parfum" in German. Patrick Suskind is a German author and screenwriter. He's a recluse, never granting interviews or allowing photos. Wonderful condition for this book. A movie starring Dustin Hoffman was produced. Fantasy Literature 4A-240.
