105 REBEL OF RHADA [THE]
Gilman, Robert Cham (pseud. Alfred Coppel)

Some 10,000 years in the future, mankind has slipped back to a feudal culture, except for the star ships that still link the interstellar empire together. The starship engines run on unlimited energy, but the rest of technology is lost to myth and superstition. Priests chant navigation codes, war horses are transported in the holds for knights and torches light the passageways of the starship because no one remembers how to fix the lights. Within this decay, Kier of Rhada is called to Earth by the 10 year old Emperor to account for himself.
