Later printings by the SFBC substituted the original cover by Tate for the S. C. Wyeth cover for the HRW trade edition. First printing with brown boards with blue lettering on spine. The First Chronicle of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever. Map by Lynne K. Plagge. Moderate jacket crinkling at top and bottom of spine panel with heavier crinkling and chipping at upper tips.
