First Printing of this Special Editon published in October 2003 with a special forward and a previously unpublished final chapter by the author. Originally published in paperback in 2002 by Mount Publishing, Shadowmancer was later published (again in paperback) in the UK in June 2003 by Faber and Faber, but without the final chapter revealing what really happened to Raphah, Thomas and Jacob Crane when they sailed away onboard the Magenta. In October 2003, Faber and Faber published this Special Edition and first hardcover restoring Chapter 26, the final chapter. The first US hardcover edition was published in 2004.
