FUNGUS: A NOVEL [THE], Knight, Harry Adam (aka John Brosnan)
12 FUNGUS: A NOVEL [THE]
Knight, Harry Adam (aka John Brosnan)
Franklin Watts, 1989, 0531151034 / 9780531151037

First Edition, Hardcover, Fine, Very Good. Book. LoPrete, Tere
Hardcover first edition, first printing. First US edition. (Previously published in 1985 by Star Books in the UK.) Jacket price is intact and number line is complete. Not a book club, remainder or ex-library copy. One jagged, but closed jacket tear at top rear corner of spine panel (1 cm in length) with associated crinkling and two closed jacket tears (0.5 cm and 1 cm in length) at bottom edge of rear jacket panel with associated crinkling and creasing. Other than these flaws this is a clean, straight copy without price-clipping. The pages are bright without soiling. An absolutely creepy book - "She picked up a length of wood and thrust it angrily into one of the bigger mounds of fungus. Unexpectedly, a ripple ran through the growth, then the whole mound moved...Even worse, it spoke to her. 'Nora,' it said in a thick, muffled voice. 'Nora...It's me...' And before she could react Norm reached out with two soft, slightly sticky arms and hugged her for the first time in years.'" Harry Adam Knight was the pseudonym for John Brosnan (1947 - 2005).
