Bundled with its original limited edition paperback novella "The Lost Get-Back Boogie". This novella (also in very fine condition) was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. (This paperback follows the hardcover published by Louisiana State University Press in 1986 and is an expansion of the story which originally appeared in 1978 published as "Discharge Day".) A Dave Robicheaux mystery. Electric Mist is Burke's first mystery novel with fantasy overtones. Both are excellent examples of this Edgar award-winning author's talent. Burke won the Edgar Award in 1990 for the novel Black Cherry Blues.

Several small closed tears and nicks at top edge of jacket panel. One vertical jacket dent (1.0 cm in length) on rear panel near spine. Page block shows some minor age-related wear, but overall a clean, square copy without clipping. Set in Cherryh's Union-Alliance universe and sequel to The Pride of Chanur. Interior map by David Cherry. Award History: 1985 Locus Poll Award Nominee for Best SF Novel (lost to The Integral Trees by Larry Niven).
