LORD VALENTINE'S CASTLE, Silverberg, Robert
1 LORD VALENTINE'S CASTLE
Silverberg, Robert
Harper & Row, 1980, 0060140267 / 9780060140267

First Edition, Hardcover, Near Fine, Poor. Book. Walotsky, Ron
Hardcover first edition, first printing. (Originally serialized in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, 1979). Not book club, remainder or ex-library copy. The text block shows age-related wear, but is remarkably clean and square. The jacket, however is in poor condition, it's price-clipped, shows numerous open and closed tears with associated crinkling and chips, especially at the head and heel of the spine panel with creasing in the inner flaps. An excellent copy of this award-winning title to marry to a superior jacket. Barron (ed. ): Fantasy Literature 4A-232. Award History: 1981 Balrog Award Nominee (lost to The Wounded Land by Stephen R. Donaldson); 1981 Hugo Award Nominee (lost to The Snow Queen by Joan D. Vinge); 1981 Locus Poll Award Nominee (lost to The Snow Queen by Joan D. Vinge).
